I'm sorry, but you and all these so called "experts" have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to these projections and it's almost offensive to read some of this. No wonder so many of these NBA teams are screwed up if this is how they evaluate talent, and I use evaluate loosely because I've been following basketball all my life and know by now who will and willn't become a quality player because I actually watch games and care about fundamentals. So when I see Deshaun Thomas, the best two way player in the draft apart from Otto Porter listed in the second round and just have to close my laptop screen and pace around for a few minutes because it sincerely gets me hot under the collar that you and so many "scouts" have the gall to underrate such a talent. Have you not been watching him the past two seasons or are you just some Michigan homer who wants to pretend that Thomas isn't a force on both ends of the court. He has an incredibly refined offensive skillset for such a young age and in many ways reminds me of Kevin Durant in his year at Texas in that he can score in every way possible, and actually cares about fundamentals, AND on top of all that is a smart, unselfish player. And then you have his dominating presence on defense, where he doesn't give an inch and constantly hustles to make the play and lock down his man. A kid with both heart AND skill can turn a franchise right around and would instantly change the culture of so many of these perennial basement dwellers who only draft hyped up athletic prospects who end up busts and out of the league in three years. So I say now, pass on Deshaun. I DARE YOU. And see how much you regret it this time next year.
